For 80 years the Fort Payne Improvement Authority has been providing reliable power to homes and businesses in Fort Payne and the surrounding community.  It is our privilege and responsibility to provide this service to you, and we take this very seriously.  The COVID-19 virus has created an environment of uncertainty, alarm, and chaos for all of us.  Our primary hope and prayer is for your health and well-being during this challenging time.  Here at FPIA we have adjusted our operations to ensure continued reliable service to you, while minimizing the exposure to our employees and customers.  Our lobby has been closed and all payments and customer interactions are being routed through our drive-thru.  To encourage use of our automated payment system, all fees for use of credit cards and electronic checks have been removed.  FPIA wants to assure you that we are doing everything we can to accommodate our customers.  If you have been negatively impacted by this virus, FPIA will work with you to ensure continued service.  We are proud to be your local power company, and together we will work through these days and look forward to a bright future.
